PKF Cooper Parry opens their doors to their ‘google-esque’ office at East Midlands Airport on Tuesday 13 October from 4pm – 7pm. A firm who has been breaking all boundaries and seen 36% growth this year is on the hunt to hire the best talent in the region.
With more than 20 jobs across a variety of teams and levels on offer, they are looking to attract forward thinking, dynamic and driven individuals, who put clients first and deliver exceptional service.
PKF Cooper act for more privately owned businesses with £5m+ turnover in the East Midlands than any other accountancy firm and are focused on mirroring their clients through being entrepreneurial, commercial and forward thinking.
The evening kicks off with a presentation from Ade Cheatham, CEO on what it is like to work at the firm, the ethos of the company and its ambitious growth plans.
There will be the opportunity to chat with staff members in the Audit, Tax, Wealth, IT, Restructuring, Corporate Finance and support teams as well as a guided tour around the office.
The firm is currently recruiting for a number of roles including IT apprentices, a facilities manager, AAT students, ATT students, placement students and interns for 2016.
One successful student who attended the firm’s last recruitment day in March was 21-year-old Lorna Collyer from Melbourne. She said she would encourage anyone looking for a job at a vibrant, exciting and forward thinking firm to attend the open day.
She said: “I was studying accounting and finance at Keele University when I heard about the open day at PKF Cooper Parry and decided to attend.
“I was blown away by their offices which are so different to the ‘usual’ boring accountancy office – with themed rooms, play areas and a really welcoming vibe – and the staff were all so friendly and positive. The whole ethos of the firm appealed to me, because they have a real focus on employee well-being and supporting you to progress through your career.
“I was offered one of the 12 month intern roles and started in August once I’d finished my degree. The internship gives me the chance to rotate through seven different teams which is great.”
Lorna added: “I would really recommend PKF Cooper Parry’s open day to anyone who is interested in a career in accountancy, IT or wealth management.”
CEO at PKF Cooper Parry Ade Cheatham said: “Our last open house in March was extremely successful and we met a huge variety of extremely talented and enthusiastic people, many of whom are now working with us”.
“We’re experiencing exceptional growth across all of teams and are always looking for ambitious, switched on people to deliver a best in a class service to our clients”.
