An article on Derby City Council News dated 12th March 2018 gives advanced notice of the next phase of work on the A52 Brian Clough Way, between the Pentagon and Raynesway junctions.
The current phase of works being carried out, on midweek nights between 8pm and 6am, continues until 23rd March. The A52 Brian Clough Way Eastbound, between Eastgate/Pentagon Island and Raynesway, will be closed overnight. There will be no access to the A52 Eastbound from the Wyvern Way slip road. Lane 2 westbound will also be closed, from Raynesway to Pentagon Island, at the same times as the eastbound road closure each evening.
The next phase of works from 24th March includes the construction of a new concrete safety barrier in the central reservation. Due to the complexity of the installation process and safety concerns, it is essential that this work takes place during the daytime. One lane in each direction of the carriageway, between the Pentagon and Raynesway junctions, will be closed for 24 hours a day. The lane closures will be in place between Monday 26th March and Thursday 29th March and between Tuesday 3rd April and Friday 6th April.
More details about the next planned programme of works, from 24th March, are in the Latest News section on the A52 Scheme webpage. Further email updates will be sent out and will the webpage will be updated, along with Twitter and Facebook updates.
