Cooper Parry

New Partner, Grant Jones at Cooper Parry

Nottingham Business Advisers Cooper Parry, have appointed Grant Jones as Partner to head up their new London office from 1 July 09.



His arrival marks a confident step by the region’s largest independent firm of business advisers, Cooper Parry, who seeks to extend its national presence as advisers to private businesses and build stronger links with businesses and key influencers in Europe’s biggest financial centre.



Grant Jones’s business activities are wide ranging as a Chartered Accountant, Licensed Insolvency Practitioner, Solicitor and New York Attorney. He is also the newly elected vice president of the London Society of Chartered Accountants, a special Professor of Insolvency Law designate at Nottingham University and author. He has a Master of Law in Arbitration and is called upon to arbitrate financial or accountancy orientated matters.



Grant says "I have missed the camaraderie of partnership in an accountancy business and am delighted to be joining such a well placed firm. I know it sounds silly, but I find accountancy exciting and am eager to begin my role at Cooper Parry. I am also very passionate about London and its financial importance and being a major part of developing Cooper Parry’s visibility in London."



When it comes to outside interests, Grant added, "I enjoy writing and have several books published which resulted in a special professorship at Nottingham University. I am also a keen cyclist."
